Homeless applications 2015/16 In 2015/16 a total of 1585 households applied to the council as either homeless or threatened with homelessness or for housing advice. The figures for Berwick are based on former district council area. The homelessness figures for Northumberland show that 12%(45) of all homeless applicants were from the Berwick area.
